  1. Wine Tasting

You may be wondering, “What is Solvang known for besides its Danish culture and heritage?” Solvang is smack dab in wine country making the top must do activity enjoying a little wine tasting in one of the area’s many tasting rooms. Solvang has more than 20 wine-tasting rooms. The best part is you don’t need a car to drive between each of them. Many are located within walking distance in the heart of the town.

My top recommendations are:

Casa Cassara

Family-owned since 1988, Casa Cassara is most well-known for their Pinot Noir. However, they now offer a number of other varietals. The tasting fee at Casa Cassara is just $15 and includes a selection of five wines. Rather than offering a set menu, Casa Cassara provides guests with a list of the available wines, allowing visitors to select the wines they want to try.
