The Best San Diego Murals and Street Art and Where to Find Them

There are tons of fun things to do in San Diego, California. It’s one of the most beautiful cities in the United States. It’s also home to a thriving public art scene. This is why I packed my bags and loaded my faithful model, Maddie, the French bulldog into my car and drove south to this great city to capture photos of some of the most gorgeous San Diego murals.

If you’re a long-time reader of my travel blog you’ll know I love street art. Maddie and I have put together guides to Los Angeles Street Art, San Francisco Street Art, New York Street Art, Chicago Street Art, and Athens Street Art. And when it comes to murals, Sand Diego did not disappoint.

In this post, I’ll take you through the neighborhoods of North Park and Chicano Park, which are home to a high concentration of murals in San Diego. Of course, you’ll find San Diego mural art in other neighborhoods, but if you want the most bang for your buck, head to this area where murals are practically on every block.

For each work of art, I’ll tell you the name, artist, and location so you can check out this amazing mural art for yourself and fill your Instagram feed full of colorful images.
